The Department of Secondary Education serves students in Grades 6-8 and 9–12.

Our mission is to ensure all secondary students engage in a rigorous, relevant, and challenging course of study. We are committed to supporting educators in delivering high-quality instruction—for every student, in every class, every day.

Our ultimate goal is for every graduate to leave our schools fully prepared for success in college, the workforce, and beyond. By maintaining high expectations and providing the necessary resources, we aim to equip students with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to excel in their chosen paths.
