Curriculum and Instruction
The Sumter County School System's Mission of the Office of Curriculum and Instruction is to ensure the successful completion of the school district's mission by providing a meaningful school curriculum which is carefully aligned to state standards, is of the highest quality and meets the needs of all students in such a way as to ensure that they are able to experience life-long success in this highly complex and ever-changing society.
We will be research based and data driven as we deliver instruction that prepares our children to read with comprehension, write clearly, compute accurately, think critically, reason analytically and use information coupled with technology to become efficient problem solvers.
